Symphonic Band

Symphonic Band is the primary band at Ponderosa and is open to all students who play wind, brass, and percussion instruments. The course emphasizes the development of overall musicianship, instrumental technique, and leadership, granting students opportunities to perform engaging wind band music throughout the year. Prior music reading experience is recommended. Students have opportunities to perform at various music festivals around the state, in addition to exciting trips like Disneyland, Disney World, New York City, and more.

There is a $60.00 instrument fee for those renting school instruments, as well as a $50.00 instrument maintenance fee for percussionists.

Concert attire is available for rent for families in need.
